1.1. Personal Information

When you register or interact with Koor, we collect:

• Contact details: full name, email address, phone number
• Account credentials: username, password (hashed)
• Profile information: profile photo, biography, agency details (if applicable)
• Property details: address, photographs, description, price, type, and any data you submit

1.2. Usage & Device Data

Automatically collected:

• Device information: IP address, device model, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Log data: pages visited, time spent, search queries, crash reports, and other interactions

1.3. Location Data

• Approximate location: inferred from IP address
• Precise GPS: only if you grant permission in the mobile app

1.4. Cookies & Tracking

We and our providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to:

• Remember preferences and settings
• Analyze usage trends
• Improve and personalize our services

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; note some functionality may be affected.

1.5. Media Permissions

When you upload property images, Koor will request access to:

• Camera: to take new photos within the app
• Photo Library/Gallery: to select existing images

You grant access at the time of use and may revoke it via your device's settings; image-upload features will then be disabled until permission is restored.

1.6. Photo Metadata (EXIF)

• What we collect: we retain embedded metadata (GPS coordinates, timestamp, device make/model) to verify listing accuracy and improve search relevance.
• What we strip: we do not strip metadata; location is used as described.
• Your choice: you can opt in or out of sharing GPS tags with each upload. Opting out removes GPS tags from your public listing.

We use your data to:

1. Provide & maintain Koor and its features
2. Process property listings and enable communication among users
3. Personalize your experience (e.g., relevant suggestions)
4. Communicate about your account, respond to inquiries, send updates, security alerts, and (where permitted) marketing messages
5. Analyze usage patterns to improve our app, site, and services
6. Prevent fraud, abuse, and other prohibited activities and enforce our Terms of Service
7. Handle media: uploaded images are securely stored, resized/optimized for display, and publicly shown as part of your listing

We may share your data in the following ways:

4.1. Account Data

We retain Personal Information as long as your account is active or needed to provide services, and thereafter as required by law or to resolve disputes.

4.2. Media Retention

• Retention period: when you delete a listing or close your account, we keep your images in backup storage for 30 days before permanent deletion.
• Immediate deletion: delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete Account to remove all media tied to your profile.

To store and deliver your images, we use:

• Bunny.net (global CDN) – https://bunny.net/privacy/
• DigitalOcean Spaces (object storage) – https://www.digitalocean.com/legal/privacy-policy/
• Wasabi (archival backups) – https://wasabi.com/privacy/

Each provider's privacy policy applies when they process your data.

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
• Secure password storage (hashed and salted)
• Access controls and regular security reviews

Koor may integrate with external services (e.g., Google Maps, payment gateways, social logins). These services have their own privacy policies; please review them before use.

Koor is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app banner. The "Last updated" date reflects the policy's effective date.
